๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐: Reinforcing the agencyโs commitment to promote inclusivity in the workplace, the Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region, through its Makati-Pasay Field Office, participated in the first-ever KARIR EXPO: An Inclusive Job Fair organized by the Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP), today, May 25, 2026, at 5th Floor Space, One Ayala, Makati City.
The fair, with over 30 participating employers from various sectors ranging from financing, customer services and administrative professions, aims to strengthen equal access to employment and create a safe welcoming environment across industries especially for members of LGBTQ+ community.
MPFO Director II Leonides P. Castillon Jr. opened the program by expressing his appreciation for the conduct of sectoral job fairs which highlights inclusive employment that mandates equal work opportunities for all regardless of age, s*x, ethnicity and gender identity.

Meanwhile, PFIP Chair and Board Sponsor Angelo Camaya shared that the career expo does not only provide employment opportunities but also raises awareness about the importance of inclusivity and representation in both private and public workforce through this initiative.

Applicants were also able to explore accessible One-Stop-Shop services offered by DOLE and its partner agencies such as Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, and Public Employment Services Office.
By supporting events like this, DOLE reaffirmed its commitment in programs that provide fair labor practices and opportunities, and empowered marginalized sectors that promote decent works, social protection, meaningful progress, and inclusive workplaces for everyone.
