The Manay MPS personnel, under the supervision of PMAJ ROSS C CABIGAS, ACOP, and led by PCPL Mary Irene L Cayaban-WCPD PNCO, participated in the 33rd National Children’s Month Celebration held at Old Macopa National High School, Barangay Old Macopa, Manay, Davao Oriental.

This initiative underscores our unwavering commitment to protect children’s rights and raise awareness against OSAEC and all forms of child abuse. Together with DSWD, MSWDO, and school teachers, Manay MPS continues to foster a safe, nurturing, and child-friendly community for every child in Manay.

Manay MPS Supports 2nd District-Wide Scout Encampment, Promotes Crime Prevention and Child Protection.
personnel from Manay Police Station (MPS), under the leadership of PMAJ MELITON J SANGO I-COP, actively participated in the 2nd District-Wide Encampment for Junior and Senior Cadet Scouts, and Twinkler, Star Scouts' Playday.

As part of their advocacy for public safety and child protection, Manay MPS conducted a focused lecture on key laws, including RA 11313 (Safe Spaces Act or "Bawal Bastos" Law) and RA 11930 (Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children Act). The activity aimed to educate young participants on the importance of respect, recognizing abuse, and understanding their rights both online and offline.

This initiative underscores Manay MPS continued commitment to community engagement, youth empowerment, and fostering a safer, more informed society.

On September 25, 2025, personnel from the Manay MPS conducted a special lecture on police work as part of a class observation activity for Kindergarten pupils. The resource speaker was PSSg KRISTINE JADE L ANTONIANO, under the supervision of PMAJ MELITON J SANGO I-COP, held at GREGORIO MORALIZON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-I

The activity aimed to introduce young learners to the role of police officers in the community, fostering trust between law enforcement and children. Additionally, it sought to promote discipline and civic awareness from an early age, helping to build a foundation of respect and cooperation between the police and the community they serve.
