The Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) issues this advisory to ensure a fair and stable marketplace for all residents. In line with national efforts to prevent hoarding and profiteering, we remind all local gasoline stations and LPG retailers of their legal obligations.

The BPLO remains committed to protecting the public and maintaining an orderly fuel supply in our community.
Umaaksyon ang Department of Energy laban sa posibleng hoarding at profiteering sa bentahan ng petroleum products, kasunod ng mga ulat ng iregularidad sa suplay at retail practices.
Nakipag-ugnayan na ang DOE sa Department of the Interior and Local Government at Philippine National Police upang matiyak ang agarang aksyon laban sa sinumang mapatunayang lumalabag sa batas. Kasalukuyang vine-verify ang mga ulat mula sa DOE field offices sa Luzon at Mindanao bilang bahagi ng case build-up para sa posibleng enforcement action.
Sa ilalim ng Price Act of the Philippines at Presidential Decree No. 1865, ilegal at may kaakibat na multa at pagkakakulong ang hoarding, overpricing, adulteration, at iba pang manipulasyon sa presyo at suplay ng petroleum products.
Ayon kay Secretary Sharon S. Garin, hindi palalampasin ng pamahalaan ang anumang pagtatangkang magsamantala sa kasalukuyang sitwasyon. Sa direktiba ni Ferdinand Marcos Jr., pinatitibay ng DOE ang pagprotekta sa mga mamimili at mapanatili ang maayos at sapat na suplay ng fuel sa bansa.
