Lokasyon ng Sentro (10:00 AM)

Ang sentro ng Bagyong Tropical na HAGUPIT ay tinatayang nasa layong 1,460 km Silangan ng Hilagang-Silangang Mindanao (NASA LABAS NG PAR) batay sa lahat ng magagamit na datos, sa koordinat na 8.2°N, 139.6°E.

Pinakamalakas na hanging malapit sa gitna: 85 km/h
Pagbugsong hangin: hanggang 105 km/h
Sentrong presyon: 998 hPa
Kasalukuyang Kilos

Kumikilos ito pa-kanluran sa bilis na 20 km/h.

PANGKALAHATANG PAGTINGIN SA INAASAHANG GALAW NG BAGYO

• Inaasahang kikilos ang HAGUPIT pa-kanluran-hilagang-kanluran sa malaking bahagi ng forecast period at mananatili sa Philippine Sea na malayo sa kalupaan. Papasok ito sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) sa Sabado (09 Mayo) ng hapon o gabi at bibigyan ng lokal na pangalang “CALOY”.

• Sa susunod na 24 oras, maaaring mapanatili ng HAGUPIT ang lakas nito o pansamantalang umabot sa kategoryang severe tropical storm. Gayunpaman, maaari itong magsimulang humina simula bukas (09 Mayo) dahil sa hindi kanais-nais na kondisyon ng kapaligiran. Inaasahang magiging tropical depression ito sa Lunes (11 Mayo) at magiging low-pressure area pagsapit ng Miyerkules (13 Mayo).

• Maliit ang posibilidad na direktang makaapekto ang HAGUPIT sa lagay ng panahon at kondisyon ng karagatan sa loob ng susunod na 3 araw.

Dahil dito, pinapayuhan ang publiko at mga tanggapan ng disaster risk reduction and management na patuloy na subaybayan ang mga update kaugnay ng bagyong ito.

Ngayong 2:00 ng hapon, 07 Mayo 2026, ang Low Pressure Area (LPA 05a) na mino-monitor sa loob ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ay "MALABONG" maging tropical depression sa loob ng susunod na 24 oras.

Samantala, ang Tropical Storm "HAGUPIT" (dating LPA 05b) ay patuloy pa ring mino-monitor sa labas ng PAR. Pinapayuhan ang lahat na patuloy na mag-monitor ng mga update mula sa DOST-PAGASA.

As of 2:00 PM today, 07 May 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 05a) being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm "HAGUPIT" (formerly LPA 05b) is still being monitored outside the PAR.
All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Ang sentro ng Bagyong Tropical na HAGUPIT ay tinatayang nasa layong 1,895 km Silangan ng Hilagang-Silangang Mindanao (NASA LABAS NG PAR) batay sa lahat ng magagamit na datos, sa koordinat na 7.5°N, 143.5°E.

Lakas:
Taglay nito ang pinakamalakas na hanging umaabot sa 65 km/h malapit sa gitna, pagbugsong hanggang 80 km/h, at sentrong presyon na 1002 hPa.

Kasalukuyang Kilos:
Kumikilos ito pa-kanluran sa bilis na 20 km/h.

“HAGUPIT” MAINTAINS ITS STRENGTH WHILE MOVING WESTWARD OVER THE SEA SOUTH OF GUAM.
Location of Center (10:00 AM):
The center of Tropical Storm HAGUPIT was estimated based on all available data at 1,895 km East of Northeastern Mindanao (OUTSIDE PAR) (7.5°N, 143.5°E).
Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 80 km/h, and central pressure of 1002 hPa
Present Movement:
Westward at 20 km/h
Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:
Strong to gale-force winds extend outwards up to 280 km from the center
GENERAL OUTLOOK FOR THE FORECAST PERIOD
• HAGUPIT is forecast to move west northwestward throughout the forecast period. It will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between Saturday (09 May) evening and Sunday (10 May) morning and will be given a local name CALOY.
• In the next 48 hours, HAGUPIT will further intensify peaking as a high-end tropical storm. Afterwards, due to unfavorable environmental conditions, it will begin to weaken and may be downgraded to tropical depression by next Tuesday (12 May) while over the Philippine Sea.
• HAGUPIT is less likely to directly affect the weather and sea conditions in the next 3 days.
Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for updates related to this tropical cyclone.
Unless there is an intermediate issuance, the next tropical cyclone advisory will be issued at 11:00 PM today.

Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Tangalan, Makato, Kalibo, Lezo, Numancia, Batan, NewWashington, Altavas, Balete, Banga), (SapiAn, Ivisan, RoxasCity, Panay, Dao, MaAyon, Dumalag, PresidentRoxas, Pontevedra, Panitan), (Ajuy and Concepcion) within the next 30 minutes to an hour.

The above conditions are being experienced in (Mambusao and Sigma) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.
