LOOK | 04 June 2026 โ CITY OF PUERTO PRINCESA. In preparation for the upcoming implementation of the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) โ Palawan Provincial Statistical Office successfully convened the twenty-four (24) Municipal and City CBMS Coordinating Boards (MCCBs) across the province from 27 April to 28 May 2026. The series of convening activities marked a significant step in strengthening coordination and collaboration among stakeholders in anticipation of the 2027 CBMS Rollout.
The CBMS serves as an essential tool in generating updated and localized socio-economic data on households and communities. It provides valuable information on various development indicators, including poverty, education, health, employment, housing conditions, and access to basic services. Through the CBMS, government agencies and LGUs are better equipped to identify priority sectors, formulate evidence-based policies, target beneficiaries more effectively, and monitor the impact of government programs and interventions.
