𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰-𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬!

𝐃𝐓𝐈 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 has officially wrapped up its 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐, one of major highlight activities for the 𝑴𝑺𝑴𝑬 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 2026.

From the very first sniffed of the dry aroma to the loud, unapologetic slurps of the final brews, it was an incredible sensory adventure. The local coffee producers and coffee shop owners had the best time exploring different origins, breaking crusts, and tasting some truly exceptional profiles.

This 2nd coffee cupping session was made possible through the generous support of the Equilibrium Intertrade Corp. and Curve Collaborators, led by Mr. Rey Gilongos, Sr. Sales Specialist by sharing his expertise that left a lasting impression on all our participants. This time featuring the distinct locally grown coffee from communities in Palawan, such as Sabuya Coffee and Caramay Coffee as well as coffee from Bgy. Tagabinet.

A strong partnership with the Provincial Government of Palawan was further strengthened through the Provincial Agriculture Office with Engr. Reniel Z. Rocaberte bridging the collaboration and making this activity a huge success.

Provincial Director Hazel DP. Salvador highlighted the vital role of local coffee producers, café and passionate consumers play in elevating the local coffee industry and fostering a thriving community.

Inilunsad ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) MIMAROPA ang Pamilihang Bayan ng Bidang Mamimili (PBBM) upang kilalanin at hanapin ang Most Consumer-Friendly Public Market sa buong rehiyon.

Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, sinusuri ang mga pampublikong pamilihan batay sa mahahalagang pamantayan tulad ng:
✅ Tama ang timbang ng mga timbangan
✅ Malinis, ligtas, at maayos ang kapaligiran
✅ May sapat at madaling magamit na mga pangunahing pasilidad para sa lahat
✅ May mga innovation upang higit na mapadali ang pamimili at pagtitinda

Nakipagtulungan ang DTI MIMAROPA sa Department of Agriculture (DA) MIMAROPA, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA, Consumer Protection and Advocacy Bureau (CPAB) ng DTI, at Philippine Information Agency (PIA) MIMAROPA upang ipatupad ang programang ito.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | The 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 - 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 supports the DICT MIMAROPA! DTI Palawan participated in the 𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐀'𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧 on July 15, 2026 as part of the government agencies tasked to support the government's efforts to bring digital infrastructure, digital literacy, and online economic opportunities directly to provinces and far-flung communities.

The recognition underscores the strong collaboration between DTI and DICT in promoting digital inclusion and empowering communities through technology. Through the Digital Bayanihan Caravan, DICT continues to bridge the digital divide by bringing connectivity, digital tools, and digital opportunities closer to every community—ensuring that no Filipino is left behind as the country moves toward a more connected, inclusive, and digitally empowered future.
