ENSURING TRANSPARENT UNIT ALLOCATION. The Resettlement Implementation Coordinator Project Management Office (RIC PMO) of assists in the allocation of housing units for Project-Affected Persons (PAPs) under the NorthโSouth Commuter Railway Extension (NSCR-Ex) Project โ North 2 in April at San Fernando View Residences Phase 1 in Mexico, Pampanga.
Conducted in coordination with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the National Housing Authority (NHA), the activity included an orientation on procedures and requirements, followed by the official raffle draw and unit inspections. PAPs had the opportunity to inspect their assigned units and raise concerns prior to relocation.
The activity ensured a fair and transparent unit allocation process while supporting proper information dissemination and addressing site-related concerns. It also forms part of the continuing efforts of partner agencies to provide resettlement solutions for families affected by the NSCR-Ex Project, with the DHSUD RIC PMO supporting the implementation of the DOTrโs railway project.
Key officials present included Irish C. Calaguas, Assistant Secretary of the DOTr; Atty. Joselito F. Melchor, Project Director of the DHSUD RIC PMO; and John Michael A. Bernardo, Officer-in-Charge and District Manager of NHA Pampanga, together with representatives from the DOTr, NHA, DHSUD RIC PMO, and DHSUD Region III (Pampanga).
