The People's Development Institute was established with a vision of building and strengthening communities and people's organizations committed to the pursuit of genuine agrarian reform and rural development. Objectives

To strengthen the capabilities of peoples' organizations in agrarian reform and rural development. To conscienticize other sectors of society, specifically intellectuals, professi

onals, government officials and the citizenry to participate in the process of realizing genuine agrarian reform and rural development through policy advocacy and participatory research. To develop community-based Comprehensive Development Programs using participatory methods in pursuit of genuine agrarian reform. To provide training and education on project development and related areas to NGOs, POs, and other institutions to further strengthen their organizations. Upgrade staff skills, and broaden their service coverage.
