The Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP NCR), under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗬 𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗣 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗧𝗢, Regional Director, conducted the Coaching and Workshop on the Proper Accomplishment of the Daily, Monthly, and Semi-Annual Reports on the List of Monitored Establishments Inspected at the Conference Room of the BFP NCR Regional Headquarters.

Organized by the Regional Fire Safety Enforcement Division (RFSED), the activity brought together personnel to strengthen their knowledge and competencies in the accurate, complete, and timely accomplishment of inspection reports. The workshop featured 𝗦𝗙𝗢1 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗕 𝗘𝗱𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮 of the BFP National Headquarters as the guest speaker, who shared valuable insights on standardized reporting procedures and proper documentation practices through coaching sessions and discussions.

The activity underscores the Bureau's commitment to strengthening fire safety enforcement through accurate reporting and effective data management. By promoting consistency in documentation, the workshop supports informed decision-making, efficient monitoring of inspected establishments, and the continuous delivery of quality public service.

LOOK: The Bureau of Fire Protection National Capital Region (BFP NCR), under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗬 𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗣 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗧𝗢, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, joined the inauguration and blessing of the Katarungan Fire Sub-Station and the newly procured fire truck of the Muntinlupa City Fire Station.

The newly established fire sub-station and the newly procured fire truck further strengthen the operational capability of the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, enabling firefighters to respond more quickly and efficiently to fires, rescue operations, and other emergencies within the community.

The completion of the new fire sub-station and the addition of a new fire truck demonstrate the Bureau's ongoing commitment to improving emergency response capabilities and delivering quality public service.

𝗕𝗙𝗣 𝗡𝗖𝗥 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗯-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆

Under the leadership of Regional Director 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗬 𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗣 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗧𝗢, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP NCR), through the La Loma Fire Sub-Station of the Quezon City Fire District (QCFD), extended immediate assistance to a lost elderly man, leading to his safe reunion with his family.

After receiving a report from a concerned citizen regarding an elderly man wandering within the station’s area of responsibility on the evening of July 7, 2026, 𝗙𝗢2 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗯𝗲 𝗣 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀 promptly responded to verify the situation and provide assistance. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions, the responder patiently accompanied the elderly man in an effort to identify his residence. When initial efforts proved unsuccessful, he was brought to La Loma Fire Sub-Station, where he was given food, proper care, and a safe place to stay while personnel continued working to locate his family.

Through persistence, compassion, and coordinated efforts, personnel successfully identified the elderly man’s relatives through available online resources and immediately coordinated with them. After proper verification, the elderly man was safely reunited with his family and returned home.

This operation highlights BFP NCR’s commitment to responsive public service, compassion, and community safety by extending assistance beyond emergency response and ensuring that individuals in need receive the care and support they deserve.

DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL JULY 20 | The Ten Outstanding Firefighters of the Philippines 2026 has extended its submission deadline! Now in its third year, this project was borne of the partnership of BFP and SM PRIME Holdings, Inc., to give due recognition for exemplary BFP Personnel. The Search is open to all active BFP Commissioned Officers - from Fire Inspector (FINSP) to Fire Senior Superintendent (FSSUPT) (except those assigned as Regional Directors or Officer-in-Charge, Regional Offices), and Non-Commissioned Officers - from Fire Officer 1 (FO1) to Senior Fire Officer 4 (SFO4) with the following eligibility/qualifications:

- At least five (5) years of continuous service as of date of nomination;
- Very Satisfactory (VS) rating or higher for the last six (6) rating period;
- No pending administrative and criminal case; and
- Not due for retirement within the year 2026.
The uniform criteria for the selection in the National Level Search are as follows:
- Accomplishments (20%)
- Awards and Recognitions (20%)
- Innovation and Ingenuity (15%)
- Individual Performance Commitment and Review (15%)
- Operational Readiness (10%)
- Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) (10%) OR
Acts/Deeds Above and Beyond the Call of Duty (ABCD) (10%)
- Socio-Civic Involvement (10%)

Nominees shall prepare five (5) complete book-bound sets of the application documents. Each set shall be securely bound and properly organized. Submission may be made personally or through a reliable courier service to ensure timely delivery to the
National Selection Committee (NSC) Secretariat.

The uniform criteria for the National Level Search shall remain as follows:
a. Accomplishments - 20%
b. Awards and Recognitions - 20%
c. Innovation and ingenuity - 15%
d. Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) - 15%
e. Operational Readiness - 10%
f. Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) or
Acts/Deeds Above and Beyond the Call of Duty (ABCD) - 10%
g. Socio-Civic involvement - 10%

To provide all qualified personnel sufficient time to complete their documentary requirements and to encourage wider participation, the deadline for the submission of nomination entries is hereby extended from 30 June 2026 to 20 July 2026.

Accordingly, all Regional PRAISE Committees and the BFP-NHQ PRAISE Committee are hereby enjoined to submit and endorse the complete nomination packages to the National Selection Committee (NSC) Secretariat on or before 20 July 2026. Only complete applications received within the prescribed period shall be accepted and evaluated.

BFP NCR HOLDS COORDINATION MEETING FOR 911 LAUNCH PREPARATIONS

The Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region (BFP NCR), under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗬 𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗣 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗧𝗢, Regional Director, conducted a coordination meeting today at the Conference Room of the BFP NCR Regional Headquarters as part of the Bureau's preparations for the upcoming launch of the 911 Emergency Hotline.

The meeting brought together key officials and personnel to discuss operational plans, coordination mechanisms, and other essential matters to support the Bureau's readiness for the initiative. The discussions also reinforced collaboration and ensured that participating offices remain aligned in carrying out their respective roles and responsibilities.

As BFP NCR continues to strengthen its operational capability, activities such as this reflect the Bureau's commitment to preparedness, effective coordination, and the delivery of timely and responsive public service.

The Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP NCR), under the leadership of FCSUPT ROY RODERICK P. AGUTO, Regional Director, held a Holy Mass today at the BFP NCR Regional Headquarters, bringing together personnel in prayer and reflection as they sought God's guidance, wisdom, and blessings in the fulfillment of their duties.

The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. FSSUPT ATTY. GIL ROCHAR P DULAY, who, during his homily, shared a message of hope and unity. He encouraged everyone to continue praying for the nation and for wisdom among its leaders, expressing the hope that the country's political landscape may continue to move toward good governance, integrity, and genuine public service for the benefit of all Filipinos.

The Holy Mass served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of faith, compassion, and service, inspiring BFP NCR personnel to remain steadfast in their commitment to serving the public with dedication, integrity, and excellence.

LOOK: The Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region (BFP NCR) conducted its traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, marking the first Monday of July.

Under the leadership of FCSUPT ROY RODERICK P AGUTO, Regional Director, BFP NCR officers and personnel gathered to officially begin the week. During the program, an awarding ceremony was also held in recognition of personnel who demonstrated exemplerary performance.

The ceremony concluded with the discussion of important announcements and operational updates concerning the region's activities and priorities for the week ahead.

Under the leadership of Regional Director, 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗬 𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗣 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗧𝗢, the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP NCR), through the Quezon City Fire District (QCFD), successfully extricated a patient whose hand was impaled on the gate of his residence along St. Mary Street, La Mesa Heights Subdivision, Barangay Greater Lagro, Quezon City.

Responding personnel from the Quezon City Special Rescue Force (SRF), together with the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, immediately responded to the incident and carried out the necessary extrication procedures while ensuring the patient’s safety throughout the operation.

Through coordinated efforts and adherence to established rescue and medical response protocols, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 to Healthway FEU–Nicanor Reyes Medical Center for further assessment and appropriate medical treatment.

This operation reflects BFP NCR’s continuing commitment to operational readiness, inter-agency coordination, and the delivery of efficient emergency response services in the protection of life and public safety.
