“Following Memorandum Circular No. 121 issued by the Office of the President and posted on the Presidential Communications Office's official page, government work (except for essential offices) in UP Diliman is suspended today, 5 Aug. 2026, beginning at 3 p.m., due to continuous heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Storm Maymay and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.”

“In view of the anticipated travel difficulties brought by the scheduled State of the Nation Address (SONA) and following the announcement from the Quezon City Government, classes at UP Diliman (UPD) are suspended on Monday, July 27.

“Meanwhile, the UPD Office of the Chancellor enjoins heads and supervisors to adopt alternative working arrangements for and in consultation with personnel who expect difficulty traveling to and from the campus because of the SONA.”

In view of the anticipated travel difficulties brought by the scheduled State of the Nation Address (SONA) and following the announcement from the Quezon City Government, classes at UP Diliman (UPD) are suspended on Monday, July 27.

Meanwhile, the UPD Office of the Chancellor enjoins heads and supervisors to adopt alternative working arrangements for and in consultation with personnel who expect difficulty traveling to and from the campus because of the SONA.
