🚒 TRAINING HIGHLIGHTS | Introduction to Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue (CSSR) and Vehicular Extrication 🚑
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of the Municipality of Quezon and the Quezon municipal Police Station Personnel,spent July 20-24,2026, pushing their limits in an intensive training on the Introduction to Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue (CSSR) and Vehicular Extrication.

This training strengthens the knowledge, skills, and coordination of our emergency responders, ensuring faster, safer, and more effective rescue operations during disasters, road traffic incidents, and other emergencies. Through teamwork and continuous learning, we remain committed to protecting lives and serving our community with excellence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Municipal Mayor Hon. Mayor PABLO LORENZO III for his unwavering support for our 5 days refresher course on The Introduction to Collapse Structure Search and Rescue and Vehicular Extrication and also to Busco Sugar Milling Company Incorporated for their generous support and valuable contribution to the success of this training. Municipal Peace and Order Council Meeting

Provincial Fire Marshal FSUPT ROMEO L MIRANDA conducted a station visit to Malitbog Fire Station, where he was warmly welcomed by Acting Municipal Fire Marshal SFO3 Elcid Blas D Casiño.

During the visit, FSUPT MIRANDA also paid a courtesy call on Hon. Gary D. Casiño, Municipal Mayor of Malitbog, to strengthen the partnership between the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Local Government Unit in promoting fire safety, public service, and community resilience.
