𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Honorable Danilo A. Centeno presided over the joint committee hearing of the Committees on Housing and Land Utilization and Natural Resources and Environmental Protection on July 17, 2026 for Committee Referral No. 2026-376, which tackled Kapasyahan Blg. 024, series of 2026 of Barangay La Curva, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, concerning the processing of the survey and proposed allocation of a residential lot located at Purok 1, Lot No. 5864 TS-263 with a total area of 2,579 square meters.

The resolution seeks the assistance of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)–Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) San Jose for the conduct of the necessary survey and processing of the property. The proposed allocation includes a 700-square-meter residential area intended for seven (7) families, while the remaining portion is proposed for the establishment of a new barangay public market.

The hearing was attended by members of the concerned committees, barangay officials of Barangay La Curva, requesting residents, representatives from the DENR-CENRO, and representatives from various municipal offices and departments who provided inputs and clarifications on the matter.

During the deliberations, the committee discussed the requirements and considerations necessary for the proper evaluation and processing of the request. To ensure accurate assessment of the property boundaries and existing conditions, the committee agreed to conduct an ocular inspection of the site and await the submission of the required supporting documents before proceeding with further deliberations.

The matter will be taken up in the succeeding committee hearing upon completion of the ocular inspection and submission of other pertinent documents.
