Today, July 24, 2026, Balibago Integrated High School successfully conducted the Madrasah Parent Orientation at the Senior High School Building, bringing together parents and guardians in support of our Muslim learners and the school's Madrasah Education Program.

The orientation was facilitated by Sir Francis Paul Quintao, Program Coordinator, and Ms. Aileen Pulido, Head Teacher in Araling Panlipunan, who discussed the objectives, implementation, and significance of the Madrasah Education Program. They emphasized the vital role of parents and the school in working together to provide learners with a quality education that nurtures academic excellence while strengthening Islamic values and cultural identity.

Through meaningful collaboration with parents and the school community, Balibago Integrated High School continues to foster an inclusive learning environment where diversity is respected, cultural identity is celebrated, and every learner is empowered to grow intellectually, morally, and spiritually.

Building Strong Readers Starts with Strong Partnerships!

Today, July 24, 2026, Balibago Integrated High School successfully conducted the Parental Orientation for ARAL Learners at the School Covered Court, marking another significant step in strengthening home-school collaboration for learners' academic success.

The orientation introduced parents and guardians to the school's flagship reading initiative, Program BREATHER (BIHS Reading Enhancement and Augmentation Towards Highly-Competent Readers), a banner program designed to develop learners into proficient, confident, and lifelong readers through targeted reading interventions and continuous parental support.

The activity emphasized that reading development is a shared responsibility. By working hand in hand, the school and parents create a nurturing environment where every learner is encouraged to overcome reading challenges and reach their full potential.

In celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week, Balibago Integrated High School proudly conducted a meaningful school activity today- July 24, 2026 that highlighted the importance of inclusion, accessibility, respect, and equal opportunities for all persons with disabilities (PWDs).

Through this activity, our learners, teachers, and school community strengthened their understanding that disability does not define a person's potential. Theme: "Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development."

Balibago Integrated High School proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 48th National Disability Rights Week, in accordance with Proclamation No. 597, s. 2024, which officially declares July 17–23 of every year as the observance of National Disability Rights Week. This proclamation reinforces the country's commitment to promoting, protecting, and ensuring the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms of persons with disabilities through a rights-based and inclusive approach.

This year's theme, "Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development," underscores the importance of strengthening laws, policies, and collaborative actions that remove barriers and empower persons with disabilities to participate fully in all aspects of society.

Safety in Focus: PNP and BIHS Review and Reinforce School Security Protocols

Following the Philippine National Police (PNP) Roving and Inspection Activity today- July 22, 2026, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted to further strengthen the implementation of the school's safety and security measures. The discussion served as a venue for evaluating existing school safety protocols, identifying areas for improvement, and reinforcing collaborative strategies to ensure a safe, secure, and learner-friendly environment for all.

The inspection and subsequent discussion were facilitated by the Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel headed by PLTCOL John Paulo Carracedo, with the assistance of PCPL Apostol, PTL Pabuaya, and PCPL Abamonga. Representing the school were Josephine A. Punzalan, Head Teacher III, and Raymond Talampas, Teacher III, together with other designated school security personnel.

Balibago Integrated High School remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a culture of safety through strong partnerships with law enforcement agencies and the continuous enhancement of its security protocols. To all students, parents, and guardians:

Please be informed that all classes today, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, will be conducted asynchronously.

This temporary learning arrangement is to allow the school administration and personnel to undertake the following important school operational activities:

Review and assessment of the utilization of school gates;
Evaluation of gate management and security protocols; and
Preparation for the upcoming End-of-Term Activities.

Teachers will provide learning tasks and instructions through the designated online learning platforms and communication channels. Students are expected to accomplish the assigned activities within the prescribed schedule.

The school continues to prioritize the safety, security, and well-being of every learner through the visible presence of our partner personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP). As students begin another week of learning, police officers are conducting regular visibility and monitoring around the school premises to help maintain a safe, orderly, and secure environment. Their presence serves as a proactive measure to ensure smooth school operations, promote discipline, and provide reassurance to students, parents, teachers, and the entire school community.
