Tens of thousands of people die from rabies every year, despite the fact that it is completely preventable.

Today is ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜†. Since dog bites account for over 99% of human cases, we have the power to stop it.

How we can be stronger together:

๐Ÿ’‰Vaccinate your pets: Keep dogs and cats up to date on their rabies shots to create a protective barrier for our entire community.

๐Ÿ”นAct quickly after a bite: thoroughly wash any scratch or bite with soap and water for ten to fifteen minutes, and

๐Ÿ›‘ seek professional medical care at an Animal Bite Treatment Center right away.
