Talisayan Fire Station personnel headed by SFO4 Ethelwonda A Talines, Acting, Municipal Fire Marshal, guided by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐄𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐍𝐎𝐓, Provincial Fire Marshal, OPFM - Misamis Oriental, with the direct supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐕 𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄, Acting Regional Director of BFP-10, continuously strengthens the skills and capabilities of its personnel through regular training and hands-on activities. As part of the Skill Enhancement Activity, personnel focused on Tensionless Anchor and Tensionless with Backup.

Enhancing knowledge and skills in rope anchoring is vital for safe and effective rescue operations. A strong anchor ensures the safety of both rescuers and victims by preventing system failure.

Good anchoring skills also help teams work faster, adapt to different environments, and handle heavy loads efficiently. It builds confidence, reduces mistakes, and follows safety standards.

A remarkable chapter of dedicated public service has come to a close as we honor the well-deserved retirement of FINSP EDWIN C TAÑOLA

Held at Sipaka View Restaurant, Poblacion, Talisayan, Misamis Oriental, the Retirement Honors Ceremony was a heartfelt tribute to his years of unwavering commitment, exemplary leadership, and selfless service to the Bureau of Fire Protection and the community.

His legacy of professionalism, integrity, and dedication will continue to inspire every firefighter who follows in his footsteps. Though he now begins a new journey beyond active service, the impact of his leadership and the lives he has touched will always be remembered.
