Matagumpay na isinagawa ang Climate Change and Disaster Risk Assessment for Comprehensive Development noong ika-31 ng Marso 2026 sa pangunguna ni Mary Joy Saudia B. Santos, OIC–MPDO.
Layunin ng gawaing ito na palakasin ang kakayahan ng lokal na pamahalaan sa pagtukoy at pagsusuri ng mga panganib na dulot ng climate change at iba’t ibang uri ng sakuna, gayundin ang pagbabalangkas ng mga angkop na plano para sa mas matatag at ligtas na kaunlaran ng bayan.
Dinaluhan ito mula sa ika-29 Sangguniang Bayan, mga kagawad, mga Department Head ng iba’t ibang tanggapan ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Teresa, at mga kinatawan mula sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), at Teresa PNP. Nagkaroon ng masinsinang talakayan at palitan ng kaalaman hinggil sa mga umiiral na hamon sa komunidad at mga konkretong hakbang upang mapalakas ang disaster preparedness at climate resilience.
Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pakikilahok at kooperasyon ng iba’t ibang sektor, inaasahang mas mapagtitibay ang mga programang pangkaunlaran na nakatuon sa kaligtasan, kahandaan, at kapakanan ng bawat mamamayan.

A three-day training program in coordination with the Local Government Units (LGUs) in Rizal. This training is designed to aid and equip LGU Personnel involved in Planning, Statistics, and Data Analytics with technical skills.

The Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator – Teresa proudly participated in the Annual Meeting of the League of Local Planning and Development Coordinators of the Philippines, Inc. – Rizal Chapter held last February 27, 2026 at Bahay Kawayan Restaurant, Taytay, Rizal.

The meeting served as a productive venue for collaboration and knowledge-sharing among planning and development coordinators across the province. Key agenda items discussed included:

✔️ Status updates on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP), Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP), and Annual Investment Program (AIP)
✔️ The new guidelines for the Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (PMES)
✔️ Election of new officers of the Rizal Chapter

The Office remains committed to strengthening local planning initiatives and promoting sustainable, inclusive, and well-coordinated development for the Municipality of Teresa.

Final Inspection of the SGLG-IF Project – Construction of Reinforced Concrete Canal at Barangay Dalig, Teresa, Rizal last February 18, 2026.

Together with the Municipal Accountant and Procurement Office, we conducted a thorough review of the required documents and verified the installation of the project marker at the site. ✔️
