The All Pakistan Economics Competition was a remarkable initiative to broaden the economic vision of our youth. The selected topics are timely and essential for developing students’ research aptitude. Participation from universities and colleges nationwide reflects the youth’s growing interest in research and knowledge. It was a truly marvelous effort by Dr. Tariq Iqbal and his team from a small college in Jaranwala – arguably the first national-level initiative to extend the reach of economic knowledge among young people. This competition serves as a roadmap for other institutions to undertake similar drives. I once again commend the Principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Asghar Ali Baloch and all team members of the Young Economics Society (YES) for igniting a beacon of economic knowledge. ✨ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟.
