It is encouraging to see tourism activities continuing along the Line of Control in Indian-Illegaly occupied Kashmir. At the same time, Azad Kashmir's tourism sector has remained shut since 5 June, causing significant hardship for thousands of families and businesses that depend on this industry.

We remain hopeful that normalcy will return soon, tourism will resume, and connectivity will be fully restored so visitors can once again experience the unmatched beauty and hospitality of Azad Kashmir.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said senior political leaders of PML(N) are doing their election campaign in Azad Kashmir, they should also demonstrate the courage to address statements that hurt the sentiments of kashmiri people, which was missing in their speeches. Charging customers for internet services that were unavailable for the past 47 days in Muzaffarabad, AJK raises serious concerns about consumer rights, business ethics, and corporate responsibility. It shouldn't be treated as rocket science. For the past 79 years, successive governments have repeated the same promises, yet meaningful action has remained elusive.
Today, tourism in Azad Kashmir has been effectively closed for more than a month, but there appears to be little urgency in addressing the severe impact on the hospitality industry, livelihoods, and the local economy. Sustainable policies and timely intervention are essential if tourism is to become a true driver of economic growth.

Rightly said that the people of Kashmir should question their political leaders in respective constituencies about their past performance, fulfilled commitments, and election manifestos. Ask whether their politics is driven by public service or simply by staying close to whoever is in power, which has unfortunately been happening in past.

Use your vote wisely. Reject opportunistic politics that prioritizes government perks and privileges over the welfare of the people. Hold every candidate accountable for the promises they made before asking for your trust again. Vote for someone who believes in national unity, onground progress, and prosperity.
