2 June 1942 | A Polish man, Tadeusz Polaczek-Kornecki (b. 1885), perished in the Auschwitz camp.

He was a mechanical engineer, the director of Kraków Municipal Electrical Railway, and a Vice-chairman of Wisła Kraków multi-sport club.

The Germans registered him in the camp on 18 May 1942 with no. 35727.

In August 1942 he was deported to with his parents Leopold & Johanna and brother Robert. The mother & boys were murdered after selection in a gas chamber. The father perished some weeks later.
