Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Sweden and Latvia, H.E. Dr. Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana, was invited as a guest speaker by Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (UNJANI).

Delivering a lecture titled "Power and the Pursuit of Peace & Justice: Law & Order in Today's International Relations" for the International Treaty Law class (Mata Kuliah Hukum Perjanjian Internasional), Ambassador Mulyana shared key insights into international law and legal order in modern diplomacy.

The session was moderated by Dr. Joannes Ekaprasetya Tandjung, S.H., M.IL. (Director for Infrastructure Strengthening and Partnership for Research and Innovation, BRIN).

Strengthening Higher Education Ties: FISIP UI and Lund University

Universitas Indonesia and Lund University are moving forward to strengthen their strategic partnership, creating broader international opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty members.

Building upon the university-level MoU signed in 2023, both institutions are preparing to roll out concrete academic collaborations. These initiatives focus on student exchange programs across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, joint research support in Indonesia, distance teaching engagements, and collaborative academic events.

44th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm (ACS), 27 August 2026

The 44th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm (ACS) marked the beginning of Malaysia’s Chairship of the ACS for the second semester of 2026.

The meeting discussed the proposed programme of activities for the semester, with a focus on strengthening ASEAN–Sweden cooperation across areas including civil defence , trade and economic cooperation, energy, institutional and people-to-people cooperation, as well as preparations for the 59th ASEAN Day reception.

The ACS looks forward to continued collaboration in advancing ASEAN–Sweden relations throughout the second half of 2026.
