FROM THE CLASSROOM TO THE SOLAR FIELD: LEARNING IN ACTION

The 1MW Solar Plant at Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital, a multi-million-emalangeni investment funded by the Government of Italy, is doing more than powering the hospital - it is also powering education and inspiring the next generation.

Today, Form III, IV and V Geography pupils from Mpompotha High School in the Lubombo Region visited the solar plant as part of an educational trip, giving them an opportunity to see firsthand how the renewable energy systems they learn about in the classroom operate in a real-world setting.

The visit is a powerful reminder that investments in sustainable infrastructure can create benefits far beyond their primary purpose - supporting healthcare, protecting the environment, strengthening communities and transforming classroom learning into practical experience.

As Eswatini Nazarene Health Institutions (ENHI), we are proud to see the RFM Solar Plant lighting up both the hospital and young minds.

Investing in clean energy. Investing in healthcare. Investing in education. Investing in the future.

A BITTERSWEET FAREWELL, A LEGACY THAT WILL LIVE ON !

Some farewells are difficult because the people leaving have become more than partners—they have become part of the family.

Today, the Eswatini Nazarene Health Institutions (ENHI) shared a deeply emotional and bittersweet farewell with our long-time partners, Harlan and Barbie Moore from the Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, as they concluded four months of dedicated service and support to various institutions across Eswatini.

While we are saddened to see them go, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the incredible impact they have made during their time with us.

Through their generosity and commitment, ENHI received support valued at more than E1 million, strengthening healthcare services and opening new doors of hope for the communities we serve.

🦷 At Eluvinjelweni and surrounding communities, Harlan and Barbie supported the establishment of a new dental unit valued at over E700,000—bringing much-needed oral healthcare services closer to people and giving communities greater access to quality dental care.

🏥 At Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital, they further strengthened our dental services through equipment valued at over E300,000, empowering our healthcare professionals with the tools they need to provide better and more comprehensive care to patients.
But the true value of their contribution cannot be measured in Emalangeni.

It is measured in the smiles of children and adults who will receive dental care closer to home; in the patients who will benefit from improved services; in the healthcare professionals who are now better equipped to serve; and in the countless lives that will be touched by their generosity long after they have left Eswatini.

Their four months with us may have come to an end, but the seeds they have planted will continue to grow.

Harlan and Barbie, thank you for believing in our mission. Thank you for giving so generously. Thank you for serving with compassion. And, most importantly, thank you for leaving behind a legacy that will continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

As you return home, please know that a part of you will remain here - in the smiles restored, the lives touched, the services strengthened, and the hope renewed.
You may be leaving Eswatini, but your impact is staying with us.
Until we meet again, go well, dear partners and friends.
Your presence will be missed. Your generosity will be remembered. Your legacy will live on.

Caring is our calling.

A Monumental Leap in Dental Care for Eswatini!

Eswatini Nazarene Health Institutions (ENHI) is pleased to announce the official opening of a E700,000 Dental Unit at Malandzela Nazarene Community Clinic and the blessing of over E300,000 in state-of-the-art dental equipment at Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital.

Strengthening Clinical Excellence Through Partnership 🤝🏥

Investing in knowledge is investing in better patient care. Today, clinical staff and medical interns at Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital participated in a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on Peptic Ulcer Disease, facilitated by Dr. Paul D. Rothwell from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine.

Hosted through the enduring partnership between Eswatini Nazarene Health Institutions (ENHI) and Bethany First Church of the Nazarene (BFC), Oklahoma, USA, the session equipped healthcare professionals with updated knowledge on the causes, diagnosis and treatment of Peptic Ulcer Disease, strengthening their capacity to deliver quality, evidence-based care.

We are grateful to Dr. Rothwell and Bethany First Church of the Nazarene for their continued commitment to building local clinical capacity and improving healthcare outcomes for the people of Eswatini.

Together, we are transforming healthcare through partnership, knowledge and compassionate service. 💙
