Youth Pride 2026 🌈
“New Gen, New Hope”
On 19 July 2026, SEM & FCA proudly joined Youth Pride 2026 in Bangkok alongside partner organizations to celebrate diversity, equality, and inclusion. This year, SEM collaborated with Myanmar migrant LGBTQ+ youth from Bangkok, Mae Sot, and Chiang Mai, creating an opportunity for them to raise their voices, share their stories, and celebrate their identities through performances and community engagement.
Myanmar migrant youth created the "One Sky: Thai–Myanmar" exhibition, featuring a costume representing resilience, freedom and hope, along with fabrics displaying handwritten messages from Myanmar youth about gender equality, their experiences, and hopes for a more inclusive future.
During the event, two Myanmar youth representatives delivered powerful speeches highlighting the challenges they face as LGBTQ+ migrants living in Thailand. They also called for greater support and collaboration between the Thai LGBTQ+ community and the Myanmar migrant LGBTQ+ community.
The event was more than a Pride celebration—it was a space where young people built new friendships, found a sense of belonging, and strengthened solidarity with youth and LGBTQ+ communities across Thailand.
Together, we shared a message of hope, respect, and the belief that everyone deserves to live with dignity, safety, and equality.
Thank you to all our partners, youth participants, performers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event meaningful. Special thanks to Youth Pride Thailand for inviting Myanmar youth to be part of Youth Pride event.
💐New Gen is not waiting for hope we are the hope.
