In Ms. McLeroy’s class, students did an activity to demonstrate specialization, trade, and different trade barriers. Students had to trade different sets of Legos to build a house. However, some groups had an abundance of materials and others had scarcity.

Normally Fridays are reserved for school spirit wear, but not this Friday! College colors are taking over Crossroads tomorrow.

For College Day, students are invited to wear the colors of their favorite college or university. Rep the school you already love, a college you hope to attend one day, or the team your family cheers for every weekend.

We’ll be looking for Timberwolves showing off their college spirit throughout the day, so come ready to represent.

Students worked in groups to put together a puzzle, but here’s the catch: they weren’t given the image for their puzzle, and they weren’t allowed to talk for the first 10 minutes! After the activity, each group of students received 3 sticky notes to respond to PBIS tie-in questions to reflect on how PBIS helped/could have helped them complete the activity. They then placed their sticky note responses on an anchor chart!
