👾🦸 Relive this year's GeekFest! 📸

Fandom was on full display! The cosplay was incredibly creative, the ramen noodle eating contest had us laughing and cheering, and the panels, crafts, gaming, and performances sent us on some amazing side quests.

A huge thank you to all of the vendors, artists, panelists, performers, and the entire Akron-Summit County Library staff and GeekFest Committee for helping make GeekFest such an awesome day!

🚧👷Due to the condition of the roof, repairs are now underway at the Nordonia Hills Branch Library.

Once the roof work is complete, renovations will move indoors, bringing exciting upgrades, including new study rooms, an enhanced passport room, expanded children's and teen areas, a relocated reference desk, and lower shelving to improve accessibility.

The branch will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, as construction moves into its next phase. We look forward to welcoming you back in Summer 2027 to a brighter, safer, and more modern library.

These renovations and improvements are made possible through the voter-approved 2025 bond issue.
