On June 5th, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation entered into an agreement with the DoJ to increase funding for detransition care through their hospitals. Akron DSA, which is leading the effort behind the Akron Fights for Trans Rights campaign, demands answers from CCF leadership.

AFTR MOVIE NIGHT 🏳️‍⚧️❤️🌹

What does it mean to be "real" as a q***r person living under capitalism? How do bills like HB249 disenfranchise the q***r community and communities of color? What is at stake when q***r medicine is banned? And most importantly: how can the q***r community come together and take back power?

We'll discuss these questions and more this Friday from 6-9pm at the Bayard Rustin LGBT+ resource center with a screening of the movie Paris is Burning, which follows a drag ballroom scene in Harlem in the late 80's. Come witness this landmark q***r film and slice of q***r history, with a discussion prepared by the AFTR campaign volunteers.

Let Cuba Live! 🇨🇺

Come join us this Saturday, May 30th for our fundraiser! We are raising funds to send solar panels to Cuba. They are desperately in need of assistance due to the crippling oil blockade and sanctions instituted by the United States. We have some great raffle baskets to give out! Check them out in this video and we really hope to see you there for some food, some music, and a great time.
