This evening, the Shannon Hills Fire Department, along with several neighboring departments, responded to a reported chimney fire in the area of County Line Road and Vimy Ridge Road.

Upon arrival, crews quickly assessed the situation and determined that the fire had extended from the chimney into the masonry walls of the structure. Firefighters immediately went to work containing the fire and preventing further extension into the home. Thanks to the rapid response and coordinated efforts of all agencies involved, the fire was successfully extinguished, and all units have since returned to service.

The Shannon Hills Fire Department would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the following agencies for their assistance and teamwork throughout the incident:

β€’ Alexander Fire Department
β€’ Northeast Fire Department
β€’ Little Rock Fire Department Station 18
β€’ Arch Street Fire Department
β€’ Pafford EMS
β€’ Shannon Hills Police Department
β€’ Alexander Police Department

Incidents like these demonstrate the importance of strong mutual aid partnerships and the dedication of our first responders. We are grateful for the professionalism and support shown by all agencies involved tonight.

Stay safe,

On behalf of the Shannon Hills Fire Department, I would like to personally thank everyone who came out and supported our 2nd Annual Car Show this past Saturday.

This event was a tremendous success, and it would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community, the participants, and everyone who brought their vehicles out to be showcased. Seeing so many people come together for a great cause made the day truly special.

A huge thank you goes out to Dixie Car Club. Your support, dedication, and partnership helped make this event one to remember. You guys are absolutely awesome, and we greatly appreciate everything you do.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Heartfelt Catering for providing outstanding food throughout the event. The food was delicious, and we heard nothing but positive comments from those in attendance.

We would also like to thank Davis Elementary and the Bryant School District for allowing us to use their facilities to host this event. Your generosity and support of our department and community helped make this fundraiser possible, and we are truly grateful for the partnership.

Congratulations to all of our award winners! There were some truly outstanding vehicles on display, and we appreciate everyone who took the time and effort to participate in this year’s show. Thank you for helping make the event such a success.

Events like these help strengthen the bond between our fire department and the community we proudly serve. We look forward to continuing these fundraisers and community events for years to come, and we’re already excited about making next year’s car show even bigger and better.

Thank you again to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this event. Your support means more than you know.

πŸš’ Training Night at Shannon Hills Fire Department πŸš’

Last night, your Shannon Hills firefighters spent the evening training on hose advancement and nozzle placement to sharpen the skills that help us protect lives and property.

A huge thank you to Conner Roberts and the team at HEN Nozzles for coming out and giving our crew the opportunity to train with some outstanding firefighting equipment. Having the chance to put new tools through real-world training scenarios helps us evaluate equipment and continue improving our capabilities as a department.

We appreciate the support and are always looking for ways to better serve the citizens of Shannon Hills. Training never stops, and neither does our commitment to keeping our community safe.
