Thank you, Alpine! 💜🤟💛 Over the last two days, over 200 rolls of used, surplus turf have been picked up by community members!

We’re so glad our community was able to make use of these materials, while taking home a little piece of !

At this time, all turf rolls have been distributed. 🤟

We still have some turf scraps (still some sizable pieces, but not in rolls) that we will distribute on a first come, first served basis on Monday, June 1st at 9am.

A huge Fightin’ Buck shout out to Chayo Gonzales, Nabor Gonzales, David Young, and Isaiah Miranda for all their hard work coordinating and loading up hundreds of turf rolls over the last two days! They did an amazing job and we’re so proud to have them as Bucks! 💜🦌💛

📢 Great people know great people. Spread the word and help us find the next leader for our Early Childhood learners! 📢

Alpine ISD is now hiring a Director of Early Learning Excellence. This is a grant-funded position.

This important leadership role will help strengthen early childhood education across Alpine ISD, supporting classrooms from six weeks old at Alpine Child Development Center through Kindergarten at Alpine Elementary School.

The Director of Early Learning Excellence will provide instructional coaching, support classroom environments, lead early childhood professional learning and PLCs, and help ensure our youngest learners experience instruction that is joyful, rigorous, developmentally appropriate, language-rich, and highly engaging.

This position will also help support Alpine ISD’s work through the Moody Foundation M-Pact Grant and the Alpine Promise Initiative, including our partnership with the School Empowerment Network as we build a model for high-quality rural early childhood education across Texas.
