Hello Trailside Families!

Welcome to the start of a fantastic new school year.

🐺 To our brand-new families: Welcome to the pack! We are so glad you are here and can't wait to introduce you to our vibrant school community.
🐺 To our returning families: Welcome back! Thank you for continuing to bring your time, energy, dedication and smiles to our halls.

The PTA is here to bridge the gap between home and school, and we need both fresh ideas and seasoned hands to make it happen. There is no single "right way" to be involved—whether you have 10 minutes or two hours, you belong here. Let's do this together!

If you're not a member yet please consider joining us. Join us before October 1 and you'll be entered in a raffle to win Trailside SWAG and other great prizes!

Trailside Elementary School is hiring—and we'd love for it to be someone you know!

Two great opportunities just opened up at Trailside Elementary, and we're hoping to fill them with people who already care about our school community.

Work directly with students and help them thrive, day to day, in the classroom.

Yeehaw- Trailside Elementary School Dine to Donate Family Night is tomorrow (Tuesday, September 1) from 4-7 Dine in or takeout both support our school, just mention you’re there to support Trailside!

On Tuesday, September 1, from 4–9 PM, Texas Roadhouse (9001 Old Seward Highway) is hosting a Dine to Donate night for Trailside Elementary School. Just eat there that night, let them know you’re with our fundraiser, and 10% of your bill comes back to our school.

Bring the grandparents. Bring the neighbors. Bring your church group or your kid’s soccer team. The whole community is welcome — this isn’t just for Trailside families!

How to get credit for the fundraiser:
✅ Show a printed flyer
✅ Show a photo of the flyer on your phone
✅ Or just tell your server you’re here for the Trailside fundraiser — that works too!

Can’t make it in for dinner? TO-GO orders count as well, including the Family Pack specials — just add “Trailside fundraiser” in the online order notes, or mention it when you call it in.

See you there, Timberwolves! 🍽️

Happy first day of school to our newest Timberwolves! We are so excited to have you as part of our pack!

🐺 What a week to be a Timberwolf! 🐺

We closed out the school year the right way — otter pops in hand, music blasting, and the whole Trailside community together one last time.

From Field Day to DJ Day and our dance party, to watching our 5th graders walk the halls one last time to their Moving On Ceremony — this week had all the feels!

And while we’re celebrating, we also want to pause and say something important:

This year, Trailside Elementary School is saying goodbye to three incredible teachers who — between the three of them — have given over 74 years to educating kids, most of them right here in our halls.

Mr. Richardson. Mrs. Chiacchia. Ms. Fossler.

Thank you doesn’t quite cover it, but it’s where we’ll start. Your patience, your dedication, and the way you showed up for kids year after year has left a mark on this school and this community that won’t fade. We hope retirement brings you everything you’ve earned.

To every student, family, staff member, and volunteer who made this year what it was — thank you. See you in the fall, Timberwolves. 🐾
