Northbound US 75 traffic is currently shut down. Motorists are being directed to exit at Rosamond Parkway.

Please avoid the area if possible and expect significant delays while emergency crews work the scene safely.

Anna Fire welcomes Fire Prevention Week 2025 from Oct. 5-11! A special thanks to Mayor Cain for adopting our Fire Prevention Proclamation and for the support of the entire Anna City Council.

This year’s National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) slogan is “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home” which aims to educate us all about using these batteries safely. To help prevent fires, it's important to BUY, CHARGE and RECYCLE lithium-ion batteries appropriately.

Anna Fire Rescue congratulates Captain Logan Kerr on successfully completing the respected Fire Service Chief Executive Officer (FSCEO) leadership certificate program on the Texas A&M University campus. The professional capstone development program is delivered by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in cooperation with professors from Texas A&M’s Mays Business School. We congratulate Captain Kerr on this respected certification and his dedication to Anna Fire Rescue and the city of Anna.

On August 22, 2025, Anna Central Fire Station hosted a traditional push-in ceremony to welcome our new Engine-1, named “Doc” in honor of Captain James Dockray.

This ceremony was not only about bringing a new fire engine into service, but about honoring a man who shaped our Anna fire service family. Captain Dockray sacrificed as a leader, worked for the greater good, and made a difference in countless lives.

We are proud to carry his legacy forward as Engine-1 “Doc” begins service to our community.
