The City of Archie and the Archie Police Department will be hosting a UTV/Golf Cart Permit Inspection event. All vehicles needing permits will need to be inspected. Dog Registration services will also be available during the event. Please mark this date and time on your calendars.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The City of Archie and the Archie Police Department would like to extend a sincere thank you to Eleanor Leslie, Kathleen Bryant, and Connor Mears for the amazing job repainting the Eagle at the Veterans Memorial in Hodges Park.

Your hard work, dedication, and attention to detail have helped preserve an important symbol within our community. The refreshed Eagle looks outstanding, and your efforts are greatly appreciated by both the City and everyone who visits the memorial. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Jim “Subby” Sublette for taking the time to come and share his knowledge and information pertaining to Weather Awareness. His presentation provided valuable insight and important safety information for our community.

We would also like to thank everyone from the community who attended the seminar. We hope you were able to take away valuable information that will help keep you and your families safe during severe weather events.

A special thank you as well to the Archie School District for providing the space, Adrian Fire Department, Adrian Police Department, Bates County Sheriff's Office, Drexel Fire Department, and Drexel Police Department for attending and helping share this important information with your communities.
