Help us celebrate our September Teacher and Staff Members of the Month!

We are so grateful for the dedication, positivity, and care Ms. Fitzgerald and Ms. Garcia bring to Little Mill each day. Their impact is felt throughout our school, and we are proud to recognize them for all they do to support our students, teachers, and staff!

Congratulations to Mason, Noelle, Jesus, Natalie, Andrew, and Harper for being recognized as our September Leaders of the HERD! Teachers first nominated students who consistently demonstrated the qualities at the heart of our HERD: Honesty, Empathy, Respect, and Determination. From those nominees, two students from each grade level were selected for exemplifying leadership within our school community.

The recognition then came full circle as each Leader of the HERD selected a teacher who has made a meaningful difference for them this year. These teachers were presented with a special Difference Maker pin as a heartfelt reminder of the positive impact they have on their students.

We are proud to celebrate the students and teachers who help make Little Mill such a special place!

We loved celebrating our September Heart of the HERD Students of the Month! These Mustangs were recognized for showing Honesty, Empathy, Respect, and Determination and making Little Mill a better place.

This month brought an extra surprise: the debut of our new prize machine! Thanks to a grant from our Forsyth County Education Foundation, we can make the moment of recognition even more exciting for our students. Seeing our September honorees give it a try for the first time was a highlight of the celebration.

Congratulations to all of our September Heart of the HERD students!
