🚨 BREAKING NEWS! 🚨

Our 2025–2026 Bowdon Elementary Junior Beta Club has achieved an extraordinary accomplishment, earning a Top 10 finish nationally in the Project Proposal Competition!

Competing against more than 430 Beta Clubs and nearly 3,500 students from across the nation, our students rose to the top and brought home one of the highest honors in the country. This achievement comes just months after capturing State Honors, proving that their hard work, innovation, and dedication continue to shine on the biggest stage.

These outstanding students proudly represented Georgia, Carroll County Schools, and most importantly, their hometown of Bowdon with excellence, determination, and class. They were under the leadership of Molly Miller and Courtney Shumaker.

We could not be more proud of this remarkable group of young leaders. Congratulations on this national recognition and on making your school, community, and state proud!

🏀 BMS Basketball Summer Training 🏀

It’s summer time and also time to condition and train for the upcoming basketball season. We’re planning on training for the month of June and return for August. So, set your calendar and if you’re interested in trying out for the team next year, this would be a great opportunity for you.

Please follow the list:
1. Make sure the school has an updated physical on file for you by June 1, 2026

2. Participate in the Conditioning/Training Practices:
June 1, 2026 from 4-6pm
June 2, 2026 from 4-6pm
June 3, 2026 from 4-6pm
June 8, 2026 from @ BHS TBA
June 9, 2026 from 4-6pm
June 10, 2026 from 4-6pm
June 11, 2026 @ 3pm @ Temple Middle
June 22, 2026 @ 11am @ Bremen High
June 23, 2026 @ 12:30pm @ Bremen High
June 24, 2026 from 4-6 pm

3. There is a small fee of $50 to help pay for the cost of the games at Bremen and any other camps, we may play in.

Congratulations to Hailey Boggus for being voted as Bowdon Middle School's next Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Boggus is our 6th grade Earth Science teacher. In addition to being a creative teacher who loves to bring excitement to learning, she is kind and loving, perfect for welcoming students in their first year of middle school. We know you will represent BMS exceptionally well!
