I don’t expect anyone to get everything right every time.
I do expect us to rebound, learn, and keep serving the customer.
For a closing operations team, that means fixing the immediate issue and understanding what caused it.
If the lesson stops with one person, the next file can bring the same problem back.
That can mean more follow-up, more rework, and more of your staff’s time spent correcting something they’ve already handled.
After the fix, ask: What does the whole team need to learn?
Save this for your next operations team meeting.
