We're taking a moment to honor a woman whose story is woven into so many of ours. Dolly Parton wasn't just a music icon, she was a champion of literacy and a friend to libraries everywhere. Through her Imagination Library, she put books into the hands of millions of children before they ever set foot in a classroom, planting seeds that have grown into a love of reading across generations, including right here in Augusta.

Our team put together this display at Headquarters as a small tribute to her legacy. From her Tennessee roots to her rhinestone-covered wisdom, Dolly reminded us that stories matter, and that access to books changes lives.

"You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children." - Dolly PartonπŸ’«πŸ“š

This display is located at our Headquarters Library, Downtown.
