R**e Response Services strives to create an atmosphere of non-violence by pursuing a mission of social change. We believe in a comprehensive vision of sexual violence prevention which balances both a responsibility to individuals affected by sexual violence, as well as to society as a whole. We believe that recognition of the connection between sexism and sexual violence is vital to our social cha

nge efforts. RRS works to support and encourage an end to all forms of oppression, and view this as an essential part of our efforts to eradicate sexual violence and create lasting, positive social change. R**e Response Services is committed to treating all people with the highest level of compassion, dignity, and respect, regardless of age, gender, race, culture, ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion, ability, socioeconomic status or any other social marker. R**e Response Services believes strongly in supporting the right of the victim/survivor to make self-directed choices about issues raised by the experience, as well as choices that enhance an individual's emotional and physical health, and overall wellness. We fully support an individual's freedom to make reproductive choices and to have access to all reproductive services. RRS is committed to empowering survivors and eliminating sexual violence.

As Sexual Assault Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to leave you with this: hope is still here—and so is the work.

April may be ending, but our commitment to survivors, to prevention, and to creating safer communities continues every single day. The conversations we’ve started, the awareness we’ve built, and the support we’ve shown don’t stop here.

We carry this work forward all year long—by believing survivors, challenging harmful norms, supporting one another, and showing up in the moments that matter.

Thank you for standing with us this month. Together, we will keep going. 💙

As of April 30th, our Human Trafficking Housing Navigation Program will be coming to an end due to funding. This program has been an important part of helping survivors and their families find safety, stability, and a place to call home.

We are deeply grateful to our incredible community partners and dedicated landlords who worked alongside us to make this program possible. Your collaboration and commitment made a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.

We also want to extend a special thank you to our Housing Navigator, Gabrielle. Without her dedication, compassion, and hard work, this program would not have been as successful. Her impact has been truly invaluable.

Most importantly, we want to thank the survivors and their families who trusted us to walk alongside them during such important moments. Your strength, resilience, and courage continue to inspire us every day.

While this chapter is closing, our commitment to supporting survivors remains as strong as ever. Please reach out to our helpline if you need support 1.800.871.7741💙

On Denim Day, we wear jeans with purpose. 💙

This day began after a harmful ruling suggested that what someone was wearing could imply consent. In response, people around the world chose to wear denim as a visible stand against victim-blaming—and a reminder that clothing never equals consent.

Sexual violence is never the survivor’s fault. Not what they wore. Not where they were. Not the choices they made.

Today, and every day, we stand with survivors. We challenge myths. We speak up. We believe.

Wear your denim. Start conversations. Be part of the change.

Consent is the foundation of healthy, respectful relationships—and it should always be F.R.E.E. and C.L.E.A.R. 💙

F.R.E.E. means consent is:
✨ Freely given – without pressure, guilt, or manipulation
✨ Reversible – anyone can change their mind at any time
✨ Enthusiastic – it’s a clear and excited “yes,” not the absence of “no”
✨ Explicit – it’s clearly communicated, not assumed

C.L.E.A.R. reminds us that consent is:
✨ Communicated – expressed through words or actions
✨ Loud – confident and unmistakable
✨ Active – ongoing, not a one-time check
✨ Respectful – honors boundaries without question

This Sexual Assault Awareness Month, let’s keep the conversation going. Consent isn’t complicated—but it does require listening, respect, and care.

Our Community Mandala is coming to life 💙

Pieces are steadily filling in, and it’s been incredible to see the messages of hope, strength, and support coming together from across our community. Each contribution adds something meaningful—whether it’s a word of encouragement, a reflection on healing, or a commitment to supporting survivors.

There’s still time to be part of it! It’s not too late to create your piece and add your voice to this collective show of care and connection. No artistic skills needed—just bring your thoughts, your support, and your intention.

Together, we’re building something powerful. 💫

Don’t forget—Denim Day is coming up April 29th! 💙👖

Join us in wearing denim to show your support for survivors and to stand against victim blaming. What we wear is never an invitation or an excuse for harm—consent is always required.

Whether it’s your favorite jeans, a jacket, or anything denim, your participation helps spark important conversations and shows survivors they are seen, heard, and supported.

Mark your calendar, wear your denim, and stand with us. 💙
