Which grade levels will improve their attendance percentage for this week? Here is where we were last week. 3rd grade had the highest percentage!! Remember, classes begin promptly at 7:30am. Students that are not in class by 9am, are counted absent for the day.

As we close out this week, we want to highlight some of the high points:
🟡Thank you to all of the community members that came out to read to our PreK students, including Board Member Graves.
🔵We appreciate everyone that stopped by our Guess table at BISD STEM Night!
🟡Our students are working so very hard to earn a Cowboy ticket as we improve our hallway transitions!
🔵Girl Scouts came to do a lunch and learn with our girls in Kinder- 5th grades!
🟡3rd grade AIS students were in for a treat! Shoutout to Ms. Basinger for a terrific incentive for those students making the grades on their DOLs and having exceptional behavior!
🔵Our Flag team was able to be trained by Community Member, Jonathan Boddie! We appreciate you for taking the time to support our 5th grade students!
🟡PreK students were able to visit the Fire Museum!
🔵We wore red on Tuesday to honor Jayceon Hubbard. Our sincere condolences to his family. He is our Cowboy Angel!

💙💛What a week! The support from the community really means a lot to our Cowboys! It takes a village, and everyone doing their part to support the success of our students. Be sure to join PTA!

Red Ribbon Week is next week! These are the dress up days if you would like your child to participate. Remember, clothing should still be within district guidelines. If your child chooses not to participate, they should be in their district approved uniforms. Also, Trunk or Treat is Tuesday! Thanks for the candy donations thus far! We will have a fantastic time!
