If your local librarian is feeling extra sad today, it's probably because Dolly Parton meant so much to book lovers. Like Dolly once said, "You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children" and that's something we strive to do every day.

During our 2025 Books and Bees Festival, author Robyn McGrath shared her picture book biography Dolly! with us.

Today is a good day to read a book, sing a song, and chase your dreams. Thanks for everything, Dolly.
