Kicking off our summer of fun with our first around-town scavenger hunt! Starts tomorrow at 9am and ends on Saturday at 7pm. Stop by the library to grab a clue sheet during open hours, complete the hunt any time this week, and enter your completed sheet for a chance to win an awesome prize basket!

Today is the first day of our Feed & Read program! Kids ages 0-18 can stop by between 11:00 and 1:00 to grab a free bag of food to take home.

Our Feed & Read program is dedicated to nourishing both body and mind by providing free meals and literacy resources to youth throughout the summer months. Through equitable access to food, books, and engaging learning opportunities, our public library strives to support healthy growth, encourage lifelong reading habits, and strengthen connections within our community.

FRIDAY FEATURE:
We have so many things to do IN the library this summer, too! From a tabletop coloring poster and a 500-piece puzzle to LEGO challenges and a sticker collage! There’s something for everyone at the library 🥰

BEYOND GRATEFUL to have had SO MANY amazing volunteers help fill Feed & Read bags this evening! ❤️ We filled 900 bags in just ONE HOUR. A huge thank you to everyone who came, including Western Plains Public Health, Capital Credit Union, Zion Lutheran Church - Beulah, ND members and WELCA group, Beulah Public Library staff and Friends of the Beulah Library, and everyone in between who just showed up because they heard there was a need. THANK. YOU.

Our first Feed & Read event is tomorrow, Friday the 29th, from 11:00am-1:00pm at the library. We will have 75 bags of food and literacy-related items to give to any kids ages 0-18 who stop by, first come first served. (No personal information will be collected.)

Thank you to all who have helped the library succeed in feeding the bodies and minds of our youth this summer!

Summer Reading Program registration begins today! Sign up today to get a free book (or a shirt for teens—and even adults get to choose a book, shirt, or reading light!) or sign up another day this week!

Can’t make it this week? That’s okay! Register next week to still be able to participate in all of the fun and be eligible for grand prizes!

The reading program officially starts June 1st and ends August 3rd at our outdoor movie finale. 🎥

The time has come! Summer Reading sign-up begins on Tuesday!

When you register, we'll be giving away a free book to youth (age 0 to grade 6) and either a free book or a t-shirt to teens in grades 7-12, while supplies last! Adults can register, too, and pick a shirt or a book (though our stock is much more limited for this age group).

We're looking forward to spending the fun-filled summer we have planned with you! 🦖
