Garbage route for Monday, September 7 will be moved to Tuesday, September 8.

Please remember to have your garbage container out by 7:00 am on Tuesday, September 8 if your normal pickup date is Monday.

Be Kind to the Sewer System

Flushable wipes and other inappropriate items that are being flushed down the toilet are causing issues with the Lift Stations. The only solids that should be flushed are f***s and toilet paper. Facial tissue, although not as much of a problem as some other items, should not be flushed. It is a tighter weave than toilet paper and does not break down as easily as toilet paper.

The following items should never be sent down the toilet:
• Paper towels and paper hand towels
• Baby wipes or other flushable wipes (there have been class-
action suits filed against the manufacturers that advertise
these wipes as flushable because of the problems they cause)
• Rubber or latex gloves
• Rags
• Feminine hygiene products
• Diapers
