🚒 BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE | BITTINGER FIRE & RESCUE 🚑

We’re excited to share another major milestone in the renovation of our new Bittinger Fire & Rescue facility!

⚡ Our emergency standby generator has officially been installed!

The installation of the generator represents a significant step forward and brings us that much closer to moving into the facility and placing it into full service for our community.

There is still work ahead. Remaining items include parking lot paving, landscaping, and several other finishing projects needed to complete the facility.

As we continue moving toward the finish line, we are incredibly thankful for the support we have received from our community. This facility is an investment in the future of emergency services in Bittinger and the surrounding area and will serve our residents for many years to come.

Tonight, members of the Bittinger Volunteer Fire Department participated in a joint training exercise with the Grantsville and Salisbury Volunteer Fire Departments in Grantsville.

The evening focused on critical firefighter survival and rescue skills, including search and rescue operations, MAYDAY scenarios, and navigating hose mazes in zero-visibility conditions. Training together strengthens our teamwork, communication, and readiness to respond when seconds count.

A big thank you to the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department for hosting and to all of the personnel that participated.

Train together. Work together. Go home together. 🚒
