Guidelines for Engaging with ECSS Social Media

We will update social media pages as often as possible to share news about Early County School System (ECSS) and the achievements of the students and staff as well as other relevant information for ECSS. In times of inclement weather that necessitate school closing or other school-related emergencies, the pages will be updated in conjunction with the

alerting of local media. ECSS welcomes a person’s right to express his or her opinion and encourages commenters to keep comments relevant to the topic in question. The page administrators will review postings to make sure they do not violate these guidelines and privacy laws. People making comments on the pages are requested to show respect for their fellow users by ensuring the discussion remains civil, especially since social media platforms allow individuals 13 years of age and older to join. Comments are also subject to the platform's Terms of Use. Remember that your name and photo will be seen next to your comment, visible to anyone who visits the page. ECSS Phone System Still Down

ECSS is currently experiencing an issue with our phone system that is preventing schools and district offices from receiving external calls or making outgoing calls. Our service provider is actively working to resolve the issue. We will provide an update once service is restored.

Please utilize ParentSquare if you need to communicate with the school or your child's teacher(s) or coach.

Thank you!

🌟 EC EXCELLENCE RECOGNITION 🌟

We're back and kicking things off with Ms. Erica Harris! We are proud to recognize Ms. Harris for demonstrating EC Excellence through her attentiveness and quick thinking!

When Ms. Harris received an email that didn’t seem quite right, she trusted her instincts and brought it to the attention of the appropriate staff. Her attentiveness allowed our team to quickly identify and address an issue that otherwise may have gone unnoticed.

It’s a great reminder of how simply paying attention, asking questions, and speaking up when something seems off can make a big difference.

Thank you, Ms. Harris, for being observant, proactive, and looking out for your ECSS team! That’s EC Excellence! 💙💛

💙💛 Our schools came back to life this week and our Bobcats brought ALL the joy with them.

Dr. Cullifer, ECES Principal, is also a gifted songwriter and musician. Inspired by the energy and love he saw in his school this week, he wrote a song that captures something pretty special about being a Bobcat.

This first week, our students reminded us what school is really about: seeing your friends, sharing smiles, having fun, learning something new, and finding joy in simply being together.

They reminded us that Early County is more than a place: it’s a community, a family, and it's why so many of us are proud to say that we're a part of Bobcat Nation.

Turn up the volume and kick off your weekend with a smile! It’s going to be a GREAT year, Bobcats! 🎶💙 💛
