Rainy skies couldn't dampen an exciting day in Booneville, Mississippi, as the Puckett EMS team picked up six new OnDemand Specialty Vehicles Ford Transit Type II ambulances and one Type III Ford E-350 remount.

The Fourth of July is a time for family, friends, and fireworks, but it's also one of the busiest weekends of the year for first responders.

As you celebrate, remember a few simple safety tips:
🎆 Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
🧨 Keep children and pets a safe distance away from fireworks.
💧 Have a bucket of water or a hose nearby in case of fire.
🔥 Never relight a firework that doesn't go off.
🥩 Stay alert while grilling and never leave a grill unattended.
☀️ Stay hydrated and watch for signs of heat-related illness.
