More than 50 seniors arrived on campus at 6:00 a.m.—much earlier than their typical school-day arrival—to gather with classmates and celebrate the beginning of their final year at Woodbridge High School. Students grilled and enjoyed breakfast together, played co****le, spent time with friends, and watched the sun rise.

Led by senior class advisors Lauren Niezgoda and Christine Graham, the event allowed students to connect and reflect as they begin an exciting year filled with milestones and traditions.

Senior Sunrise marks the beginning of a special journey for the Class of 2027. In the spring, Senior Sunset will provide a fitting bookend as they prepare to graduate and take their next steps beyond Woodbridge.

It was an early morning, but one well worth waking up for—and a memorable way for the Class of 2027 to begin their senior year together.

The 2026 Football Team Store is open. You can access the store via the link below. We have a variety of options in multiple colors to choose from. We also have "non-football" gear items for you to choose from. The store closes on Monday, September 7th at 11:59 PM, so do not wait to get your orders in. All orders will be filled and shipped to WHS.

You could be the next Little Miss Apple Scrapple!

The Little Miss Apple Scrapple Pageant is open to girls aged five through eight who reside in the Woodbridge School District. The contest will be held on Friday, October 9th on the stage behind the Fire Hall.
There is a $25 registration fee. All proceeds will benefit the Apple Scrapple Festival Scholarship Fund. For more information and a registration form visit the Festival website at www.applescrapple.com or contact the contest coordinator.

Woodbridge School District staff returned on August 17 to kick off another great year together! The morning began with a delicious breakfast from My Turn to Cook, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by first grader Logan Lofland. We were also honored to have members of the Woodbridge School Board join us.

Superintendent Dr. Kevin Long welcomed staff with a message centered on what it means to be Built Blue—reminding us that “Every person matters. Every story matters. Every contribution matters.”

Whether returning home, continuing a Woodbridge journey, or joining us for the first time, we are one community committed to seeing, supporting, and building one another.

Together, we are Built Blue.
