⏰ Returning Your Ballot
Can I put my ballot in the mail right now?
No. Do not put your ballot in the mail. If you put it in a mailbox now, it will not count.
Where do I take my ballot instead?
Drop it off at an official secure drop box or hand-deliver it to a vote center before 8:00 PM.
Find a nearby drop box at boxeldercountyut.gov/elections

Where can I vote in person?
If you need a new ballot or need to vote, two county Vote Centers are open until 8:00 PM:
Tremonton: Box Elder County Fairgrounds Fine Arts Building (320 N 1000 W)
Brigham City: USU Brigham City (989 S. Main St.)
How do I check if I'm registered?
Look up your status in 30 seconds at votesearch.utah.gov
I'm not registered. Can I still vote tonight?
Yes! You can register same-day at either Vote Center until 8:00 PM.

Why are there no Democrats on my primary ballot?
There are no contested Democratic Primary races in Box Elder County today. Uncontested candidates automatically advance to the November election.
I'm a Democrat or Unaffiliated. Can I vote on anything?
Yes, depending on your neighborhood. All active voters in contested local precincts can vote in the non-partisan School Board races, regardless of political party. Go to a Vote Center before 8:00 PM to get a local school board ballot.

Approximately 8:30 PM: Initial early results drop at boxeldercountyut.gov/elections and on facebook.com/boxeldercounty
11:00 PM – 11:30 PM: The final updates for election night are posted.
Now-July 7, 2026 (4:00 PM): Official final results are certified after all valid drop-box ballots are processed over the next two weeks.
The November General Election
Today is just the primary to narrow down the candidates. The 2026 Regular General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
In November, all registered voters—regardless of political party affiliation—will receive a full ballot. You will be able to vote on U.S. Congress, state legislative seats, local county positions, judicial retentions, and proposed constitutional amendments.
