As we get ready for all of the exciting fall programs at Manross, we are taking a moment to reflect on the summer and what it truly means to be librarians and serve our community. This summer, a patron brought us a class ring that he had found in 1988 and wondered if we could locate the person it belonged to. Within hours, we found him—and here he is, reunited with his ring after all these years! Moments like these remind us that libraries are about so much more than books. They are about connecting people, preserving memories, and serving our community in meaningful ways.
