Brodhead Memorial Public Library Brodhead Memorial Public Library (BMPL) is an integral part of the greater Brodhead community, serving the information and recreational needs of our patrons.

BMPL is very fortunate to enjoy a "new" library building, which opened in 2009 thanks to the hard work of countless staff and community members. BMPL has a sizable print and audio/visual collection, with something for those of every age and interest. As a member of the South Central Library System, we provide free access to the internet - including WiFi - numerous databases, Overdrive eBooks, and additional materials via interlibrary loan.

Introducing Stay Sharp kits! Designed for aging adults or individuals with special needs, each Stay Sharp kit offers a themed experience. Inside every tote bag, you’ll find a curated book and manipulatives that promote interaction, engagement, and cognitive stimulation.

We currently have one kit with a Dog theme, and look forward to adding more in the future. Find it in our Library of Things!

We're gearing up for another year of Homeschool Connection filled with learning, fun, and exciting presenters! To help us kick things off, we're welcoming Miss Rhiannon and Mr. Yoder of E-Squared Martial Arts on Thursday, September 10th from 10:30am- 11:30am. Attendees can look forward to learning basic Tae Kwon Do, including blocks and kicks, as well as some basic Tae Kwon Do history.

Homeschool Connection is a free monthly event open to homeschooling families. Registration is not required for this event. For more information, please contact the library at 608-897-4070.
