Bunceton Summer School Students have enjoyed their last remaining days of summer school. Students have been swimming, built and launched rockets, learned new skills such as weaving and painting, and heat-melted bead projects, read about amazing animals, and created dioramas of their habitats. We love summer school! As a reminder, we will have an all-school carnival on Friday and parents are welcome to attend. You may check your child out with Ms. Christal at your convenience. Thank you for letting us serve your student in summer school this year and have a fun and safe rest of your summer!

We wish to thank our sponsors from the Masonic Lodge who sponsor our local bike program to incentivize reading. They get donations from area businesses, and donate the bicycles to our school twice per year. This year Travis Burnett from Bunceton Mutual Insurance and Ryan Ball from Rick Ball donated the bikes to Bunceton School, and it was a huge success! Students read hundreds of books and passed quizzes through our scholastic reading program to earn tickets towards winning the bikes. Our proud winners were Reigan Thompson and Micah Saylor - Micah showed wonderful character by choosing to donate the bike back and let it be drawn for again, since he won a bike in the December drawing. The next to be drawn out was Gabriel Brey!
