TAG recently helped to create an escape room for families and it was a big success!! There was an afternoon session whose group finished in 35 minutes and an evening session whose group finished in 27 minutes! We knew Burlington patrons were a smart bunch, but this was incredible! Thanks to all the teens who planned this program and to all of the families who escaped!!

If you saw the new movie Backrooms, it may have reminded you about a set of rooms that are, unfortunately, not endless - but they are not plagued with terrifying mystery, so that's a plus. Study rooms are available on the second floor of the Library. Drop-in only and accommodate one to three individuals. The Library is not responsible if weird, unexplained things start to happen.

The event is open to all gamers, all ages - so whether you are a solo player who likes heavier titles, or a family who enjoys easy to learn party games, we will have something for you to enjoy! We will have learn to play sessions, mini-tournaments, open gaming areas, and of course our annual board game raffle! Snacks and prizes as well - you don't want to miss this fun annual event! Next Saturday, June 6 from 12PM-5PM. No registration required!

🤩🥳The Library would love to give a major shout out to George Ratkevich, Director of Visual Arts for Burlington Public Schools. Yesterday he packed up our We Heart Art Student Art Exhibit and we cannot thank him enough for facilitating this wonderful pop-up gallery. During the opening weekend, over 175 patrons came through and many more enjoyed the display while here for Library visits! We also want to thank each and every student who made our second floor pop over the two weeks! We hope to see your work next year and beyond!

BREAKING: We don't typically like to address rumors, but a mysterious creature has been spotted in Burlington, and we have an unconfirmed report they were seen near the Library. Do you know who or WHA this is?! We'll keep you posted if we learn more.

This summer we are excited to offer events around International Tabletop Game Day, Pride, the World Cup, Summer Reading (with a kickoff carnival!), America's 250th, special crafting and game days, along with our already packed regular recurring events! We can't wait to welcome you! Pictured: To celebrate the World Cup, we're hosting a soccer event and film screening of Next Goal Wins on Wednesday, June 10th! We'll have some fun giveaways and a bracket challenge to show your soccer smarts! And that's just one of the events around the biggest sports competition in the world!
