It has been very hot lately!! A reminder that it is still dry out and a fire can still start anywhere. Be safe out there!

Peyton FD 3640 responded mutual aid with Calhan Fire Department to a report of a grass fire in the area of N. Ellicott Highway. Units arrived on scene to an extinguished fire that was on the side of the road. Crews checked for hotspots and performed mop-up. All units cleared.
