The Guernsey County CDC is excited to introduce Connect Works Mobility — a new transportation program designed to help local workers get to and from their jobs safely and reliably.

NOW LAUNCHING — CONNECT WORKS MOBILITY🚌

The Guernsey County Community Development Corporation is excited to officially launch our new 2nd Shift Transportation Program beginning Tuesday, May 26!

This service is ONLY available for individuals who both live AND work in Guernsey County.

Need reliable transportation to or from work? Call our office THIS WEEK Monday-Friday 8-4:30 to reserve your ride:

💲 Fare: $2 each way
🕕 Tentative Hours of Operation:

Our crews have completed the bridge replacement project on the connector trail that connects Coal Ridge Park and Trails with The Great Guernsey Trail.

This consisted of a total rebuild/replacement of the bigger bridge (the one that was set on fire) and the removal of the smaller bridge, which was replaced with a culvert/walking path.

This project was made possible thanks to generous donations by our supporters and the tireless effort of our crews.

Join us Saturday, May 16 for our Inaugural Guernsey County Crossroads Marathon.

Current registration stands at 182 runners, which consists of 33 for the marathon, 75 for the half and 74 for the 5k.

All races will be timed ⏱️

Participants will receive a unique finisher medal 🏅

🥇🥈🥉 awards for top three over all for men and women in all three races and awards for top three finishes in multiple age brackets.

Plenty of chances to take home some hardware 🏆

Stay after the race and experience historic downtown Cambridge and enjoy the Finish Line Festival. There you will be able to enjoy live music 🎼 vendors, and a beer tent 🍻🍺

Need fuel? The CDC can help. We are offering free gas cards to those individuals that need the assistance and qualify.

The cards can be used for work or appointments. Quantity is limited. To qualify, please complete the intake form. Once completed our Mobility Manager, Kyra Gleckler, will contact you.

Failure to complete the form in full will result in the rejection of your application. If you need help with the form or have questions, you can call 740-439-0020 and ask for Kyra.
